Job Description
Grinnell College, Department of Physical Education/Intercollegiate Athletics, the position of Head Football Coach. The initial appointment will be for a three-year term.
Responsibilities include oversight for all football operations including scheduling, recruiting, budget management and institutional administrative processes. Develop overall program philosophy; serve as a specific position group coach; oversee offensive, defensive and special team’s coordinators; provide recruiting goals and structures to the recruiting coordinator and assist in the execution of the recruiting plan; engage with greater campus community constituents for work related to College committees, alumni connections, diversity and inclusion and facility management.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required and Master’s degree preferred with five years of progressive college coaching experience.
College experience at the coordinator or head coach level; demonstrated ability to recruit to institutional goals; proven record of successful coaching with substantiated metrics; five plus years of experience as college football coach; demonstrable commitment to diversity and inclusion; the ability to effectively recognize and communicate the values of athletics at a NCAA Division III selective liberal arts institution.
