Job Description INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS

Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

Hofstra University, an NCAA Division I institution and a member of the Colonial Athletic Association is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of assistant strength and conditioning coach. This is a full-time, 12 month position.
Teaching Subjects Not Specified/None 
Sport Information Sport: Weight Lifting    
Gender Classification: Both (Male and/or female)  
Note: Gender describes the team or individuals being coached, trained, supervised or taught. It does not refer to the job applicant.
Division/Level NCAA I 
Responsibilities Responsibilities include assisting in all aspects of a division 1 strength and conditioning program including design, implementation and scheduling of year-round strength and conditioning programs for assigned sports, assist with the management of daily operation of strength facility, maintenance of database of assigned student-athletes, assist with the testing of all student-athletes, and other duties as assigned. Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Association, and the NCAA.

 
Qualifications Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Exercise Science is preferred. CSCS certification, SCCC certification and USAW Level I certification preferred.
