George Fox University, an NCAA Division III member of the Northwest Conference is accepting applications for the position of Head Women’s Basketball Coach and Assistant Professor to begin August 2010. This is a full time, ten-month position.

| Responsibilities |
The coaching portion of the position is responsible for all facets of developing and maintaining a nationally prominent women’s basketball program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling and conducting practice/training sessions, recruiting athletically and academically qualified student athletes, managing eligibility requirements, hiring and supervising assistant coaches, budget preparation and management, as well as some fundraising. The head coach is responsible to conduct this program within the philosophy and established guidelines and/or regulations set forth by George Fox University and NCAA Division III. The academic portion of the position will include teaching and administrative responsibilities in the Department of Health and Human Performance.

| Qualifications |
Qualifications: Masters’ degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, or related field preferred. Three years of successful coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level. Student athlete recruiting experience. Teaching experience strongly preferred, preferably at the collegiate level.
Applicants must also have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony by participating in a local church.
