| Job Description |
Assist with coaching and developing a highly competitive Division I Softball team. Assist with recruiting, academic monitoring, scheduling competition, game management, team travel plans, practice organization, winter and summer camps and other administrative duties as assigned.
Ohio University is a state-supported institution of 20,000 students located in the southeastern Ohio city of Athens. | Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred. This position reports to the Head Softball Coach. Previous playing and coaching experience on the collegiate level preferred. Specific experience in outfield and offensive instruction. Must have administrative ability to manage the day-to-day operations. The candidate must display the highest of ethical standards and commitment to the overall success of Ohio Athletics. The candidate is expected to act within the parameters of institutional control and is responsible for conducting all activities in compliance with NCAA, Mid-American Conference and Ohio University rules and regulations.
Candidates must have outstanding leadership, management, and interpersonal skills to relate to a wide diversity of faculty, staff, students and community members. |
