| Job Description |
Responsibilities
Plan and administer all aspects of the softball program to include coaching, recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student athletes, scheduling of practices, travel arrangements, purchase and equipment maintenance, budget management, fund-raising activities and alumni relations, academic monitoring and counseling of student-athletes. The Softball Coach may also be responsible for other athletic duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred
Experience
Strong coaching background required with collegiate experience as Head Coach preferred. Minimum of 4 years of coaching experience as Head Coach preferred. Minimum 4 years of coaching experience including 2 years at the collegiate level. Extensive working knowledge of softball training methods, program planning and safety procedures. Familiarity and knowledge of NCAA Div II rules and procedures required. Strong organizational and computer skills required.
