Job Description
Scope: The Digital Content Manager plays an integral role in promoting the work and mission of the Women’s Sports Foundation across various digital channels and to diverse audiences within each channel. This position will assist in maintaining and extending the Foundation’s brand by developing engaging web/digital experiences that support our mission, positioning, marketing, and development and communications goals. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Digital Content Manager contributes to all public-facing communications and also supports foundation and corporate partnership initiatives, fundraising and development efforts and promotion of WSF programs and research. The Digital Content Manager also advises staff on social media tactics related to promotion of Foundation programs, research and advocacy.

Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1.WSF Main Website, WomensSportsFoundation.org, and blog, SHENetwork.org:
Assist in developing and implementing a weekly/monthly/annual digital content plan tobest support and drive partner programs, campaigns, fundraising and mission objectives
Day-to-day web site management; monitor web site infrastructure and usability;troubleshoot technical issues and liaise with site development vendors for upgrades andadditions
Regularly create original content for SHENetwork.org, the WSF blog
Maintain up-to-date information about all Foundation programs; keep WSF teaminformed of editorial calendar, seek input and respond to requests
Collaborate with Champion Athletes and influencers for print and video content
Manage and grow the WSF Digital Contributor Team, a group of external contributors
Develops images, videos, graphics and other compelling content to supportnews/feature stories and boost engagement (same applies to social media)
2.Social Media Networks:
Serve as the principal voice and expert for WSF-branded social media channels:Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Vimeo, requiring after-hours/weekend availability
Help foster engagement with Champion Athlete and influencers and activatecommunications campaigns online
Analyze and report on the success of social initiatives using key performance indicators(KPIs); use learnings to grow audience and engagement
Leverage monitoring tools to listen to and act upon relevant social conversations aroundgirls’ and women’s sports issues
Develops live-streaming coverage of major events, athlete appearances etc. viaFacebook Live (with web site integration)
3.Email and Direct Mail Communications:
Produce the Foundation’s monthly digital newsletter, S.H.E. Matters, and otherdepartment newsletters, as needed
 Work alongside WSF Depts. to create engaging email campaigns for fundraising,
research, advocacy, programs and events
 Employ best practices to optimize send, open, click-through rates via the Foundation’s
CRM platform
 Monitor metrics and assist with the analysis of online campaigns
 Manage and grow audience lists
4. General Responsibilities:
 Fulfills requests and completes assignments in a timely manner including meeting
established deadlines
 Attends and participates as a positive contributor in staff, department and project team
meetings
 Contributes to the maintenance of good working relationships with all members of the
staff
 Contributes to the general financial stability and success of the Foundation
 Demonstrates a commitment to critical organization values
 Diversity commitment in all programming materials under their control
 Regular activities that build external relationships with donors, vendors and other
external constituents
 Internal relationship building outreach to other departments to enhance productivity and
program quality
Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media or related area
 3-4 years hands-on experience with WordPress, web site architecture and user
experience
 Basic knowledge of HTML, CRM systems, CSS design, and cross-browser and crossplatform
compatibility
 Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
 Experience with MAC and Final Cut Pro for video editing and production
 Knowledge of social media and brand engagement
 Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign or similar programs
 Strong understanding of women’s sports and female athletes
 Excellent written communication skills; strong attention to detail, keen focus on quality
and ability to proof/edit
 Ability to manage concurrent projects with overlapping timelines
